Transportation
Students residing 1.2 km beyond the school and live within the French Immersion transportation boundary will receive transportation. The bus route schedule for the program will be finalized the third week of August. Parents can access the information at www.schoolbuscity.com by selecting “stop information” and choosing the specific French Immersion School. At this site, you will be able to identify the nearest street corner intersection to your home and confirm the pick up time and drop off time for the designated
bus stop.
Summer French Immersion Camp
We are very pleased to offer an eight day program beginning July 5 to 15th, Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m
• The camp is offered to students entering grade one French Immersion in the York Catholic District School Board.
• Students will engage in French oral language activities such as games, songs, rhymes, and role play. Students will be introduced to French vocabulary for numbers, colours, days of the week and animals.
• To obtain a registration form select “Summer Program Registration” located on the right side bar menu.
• Completed registration forms must be faxed or emailed to the Adult and Continuing Education Department by May 28, 2010.
• Payment is accepted only by VISA or cheque payable to the York Catholic D.S.B.
• Parents/Guardians will be required to provide transportation.
