At the March 1, 2011 board meeting, Director of Education Susan LaRosa introduced the newly appointed manager of the Communications Department.
May Moore joins the YCDSB from the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) where she was a media relations and issues management communications officer for three years. Ms. Moore has a wealth of experience in developing and implementing communication plans and strategies. Prior to her employment with TDSB, she spent 11 years working in various roles in the journalism and broadcasting field after her graduation from York University and Seneca College.
