It was a spectacle of colour, music, culture and talent recently at St. Brother Andre CHS.
Students, staff and the school community gathered together to celebrate the school’s annual FUSION cultural event that promotes diversity, through a variety of talents, not only in the school but in the community.
The yearly extravaganza gives all involved the opportunity to discover the beauty in different cultures, to learn and to better appreciate the uniqueness of the multicultural society we live in today.
The audience was treated to a FUSION inspired fashion show featuring multicultural fashion, music and dance as well as a smorgasbord of food from around the world.
But the meaning behind the FUSION event isn’t lost on St. Brother Andre students.
“The audience is able to experience a diverse culture and celebrate the traditional dances and food the students that St. Brother André have to offer,” said student Ahmad Khan. “Fusion not only brings together the unique backgrounds of Canadians but promotes multiculturalism in our school.”
