REGISTRATION FOR SEMESTER 2 COURSES IS NOW CLOSED


The YCDSB recognizes that our students have a diverse set of needs, skills, goals and preferred learning styles. Regardless of their differences, we are at our best when we help all students discover and develop their God-given gifts and their sense of vocation and purpose. Guided by the principles of excellence, access and equity, we look for innovative ways to ensure a successful outcome for every student.

Students can enroll in an e-course

as one of their four day-school courses in either Semester I or Semester II.

This program is only available to YCDSB students

WHEN DO COURSES BEGIN?

There are two intake dates for e-courses – one at the beginning of each semester and another one week later. Regardless of the start date, students must participate in an orientation session and complete all course work by the end of the semester.

face-to-face

HOW MANY e-COURSES CAN I TAKE?

Students can enroll in ONE e-course per semester as part of their regular day school program.


WHO CAN ENROL IN AN e-COURSE?

Our e-courses are open to students from every YCDSB high school. To enroll, students must receive permission from their principal and parent/guardian and work with their home school’s guidance department to complete the registration.

FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Meet with your Guidance Counsellor to discuss whether e-learning is

right for you. You can get "log-in" information so that you can

preview what an e-course looks like.


In addition, you're encouraged to:

1. Explore the rest of this site by selecting from the tabs to the right of the screen.

2.  Attend any information meetings that explain e-learning.

3.  Speak to your parents/guardians about your desire to take an e-course and view webinars together.

4.  Speak to your Guidance Counsellor to inquire about enrolling.
