York Catholic students attend annual Youth Ordinandi Luncheon

Students from various York Catholic high schools attended the annual Youth Ordinandi Luncheon at the Pearson Convention Centre in Brampton, on March 3, 2015.

The Youth Ordinandi Luncheon featured members of various religious orders who spoke to hundreds of students from Catholic high schools across the province about their calling to serve in the name of Jesus. Guest speakers included Reverend David Twaddle, who is a YCDSB alumni; Sister Maria Regina of the Sisters of Life; and His Eminence, Thomas Cardinal Collins who spoke to the room full of students about his career path, spiritual journey and interactions with Pope Francis!  Students also had a chance to ask members of the Ordinandi thoughtful questions having to do with their life and vocational calling. There were also fun activities as well as dance and musical performances throughout the day.
