SBA Band performs at a Toronto Marlies Hockey game

On Friday March 6, 2015, over 180 band students from St. Brother Andre CHS in Markham performed during the first period intermission of the Toronto Marlies game at the Ricoh Centre in Toronto.

The band students filled the stands wearing their red music jackets. They sounded great performing songs including: Call Me Maybe, Party Rock, and Living on a Prayer.  The crowd went wild for their performance of the ‘Hockey Night in Canada Medley,’ which was the highlight of the night.  The crowd cheered and appreciated the wonderful performance.

Congratulations to the musicians and their teachers, Ms. Barcena and Mr. Jannetta.

SBA has a strong vocal and instrumental program. The band’s next public performance will be at the school’s Spring Concert on May 21st; all are welcome to attend!
