Toronto Marlies Annual School Game Day

The Toronto Marlies Annual School Game Day was recently attended by approximately 4,500 York Catholic students. The students had a fantastic time cheering on the Toronto Marlies at the Richoh Colisum in Toronto. Superintendent of Education, Michael Nasello, dropped the ceremonial puck, and was among board executives, trustees, and OECTA staff who presented the Children’s Wish Foundation with a cheque for $8,625.

Toronto Marlies’ players and mascot Duke, visit YCDSB schools throughout the year to talk to students about bullying prevention and creating a positive school climate. The Marlies School Game Day was hosted by OECTA.
