Day of Devotion and Living Rosary at Divine Mercy CES

On Friday, May 22, 2015, the Divine Mercy school community took part in a special, all-day, school-wide, faith based event, called the Day of Devotion, in honour of our Blessed Mother Mary.

The entire day was planned and organized from Kindergarten to Grade 8 as a student faith day, with activities devoted to Mother Mary. Students reflected on a book reading about the Life of Mary, made posters of the Mysteries of the Rosary, wrote poetry, and created rosaries that they used at the culminating event, a Living Rosary, where the entire school prayed the entire rosary in unison.

This day, inspired by faith and devoted in love, brought the entire community together, staff, students and parish community, in reverence of our Blessed Mother.
