​St. Charles Garnier students compete in the World Education Games

Kristy Lau poses with her certificateIn mid-October, the Grade 7 PACE class represented St. Charles Garnier CES in the World Education Games. Last held in 2012, the World Education Games is a global competition that boasts the participation of students from around the globe.

Over the course of three days, students competed in educational challenges and games in the area of Math, Literacy and Science in an attempt to be the best in the world. This included head to head live challenges against grade seven students from all over the globe. We are pleased to announce that the St. Charles Garnier team ranked 36th in Canada for Math, and 18th in Canada for Literacy!

Special recognition goes to Kristy Lau who ranked 42nd in the world for Science!
