Educational Partnerships

Educational Partnerships Partnerships support student learning and benefit the community.  The York Catholic District School Board has a long history of successful collaboration with the community.  Educational partnerships are flourishing in our 83 elementary and 15 secondary schools.

Our vision reflects our mission as Catholic educators and the dreams for the future that every parent has for his or her child.  We are committed to preparing students for their lives as collaborative contributors and responsible citizens.   We are committed to and accountable for quality education.  We are committed to education as a shared responsibility and welcome the involvement of community and school partners.

Through Community Partnership Development, the York Catholic District School Board aims to:

    • Support the implementation of Our Shared Vision, School Improvement Goals and the Ministry’s Strategic Directions;

    • Identify and sustain collaborative partnerships which support and enhance learning opportunities for all students.

Successful partnerships are designed to benefit students, parents, staff, parishes, and the larger community and are based on clearly defined goals that enable all partners to work together on common objectives and goals.

Educational Partnerships are endorsed by the Conference Board of Canada.

New Partners are welcome
