Parents Reaching Out Grants for Schools
2009-2010 PRO Grant Applications
If your Catholic School Council or organization is planning on applying for a Parents Reaching Out (PRO)
Grant in the 2009/10 school year, please note that there has been a change to the timelines. Many school councils and parent organizations begin their planning for the next year in May and June. This change
in the timeline will allow you to start the application process earlier and get a head start for next year.

School councils may apply for grants to support school-based initiatives focussing on engaging parents
who may experience challenges in becoming involved in the school due to language barriers, recent immigration, poverty, newness to Ontario's school system, or other factors. Visit Ministry of Education
