April Trustee Corner

Welcome to Spring! Spring is finally here and we are enjoying some wonderful sunny days.

As the mild weather approaches, please try walking to school – it is great exercise and it will help maintain our crossing guards.  Students need to be seen using our crosswalks, otherwise our crossing guards may be reviewed.

Thank you to all the families who attended the Playful Math Evening. It was a fun evening full of interactive activities for the children and parents.

St. David’s Parish is buzzing with activity.  Our Grade 2 students are preparing for Reconciliation and First Communion.  Our Grade 7 students are also busy preparing for their Confirmation. God Bless our students on their journeys towards Jesus.

Good luck to our Grade 3 and 6 students as they prepare for the EQAO tests.  May they be blessed with calmness and understanding.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all our schools and students who will be participating in the Vaughan In Motion Loonie/Toonie Day.  The winners will be announced at the Vaughan in Motion Walk for Cancer Care on Sunday, April 29th, 2018 inside Vaughan Mills.  Please come out and join us for the walk. The walk starts at 10:00 a.m.  For more information please visit, www.vaughaninmotion.com
