Throughout this school year, I encourage you to take advantage of new opportunities and strive for your goals. This is your chance to make your mark and succeed in all you do. As students we often find ourselves searching, trying to find our path in life. Now is our chance to discover the first steps in that path. Try new things, find what you love and follow your passion.
Here at the York Catholic District School Board these opportunities are right at our finger tips; whether it’s trying out for a different sports team, traveling aboard, doing a co-op, or joining a club in your school, there is something for everyone. We are so blessed to be able to go to school everyday in safe, welcoming and caring communities. We must remember to be grateful for our education as many young people around the world are not as fortunate.
As Student Trustee, I represent you, the students; your thoughts, your opinions, and your needs. I am here to make the student voice heard, so I want to hear from you! Continue to work hard and be your best and you will find success on your path. Good luck and all the best this year!
