Markham Teacher named Teacher of the Year by the Ontario Council for Exceptional Children

Congratulations to Josie Addorisio, Special Education Teacher at St. Julia Billiart CES, who was recently recognized as the Teacher of the Year for Region 4 by the Ontario Council for Exceptional Children.  Region 4 includes York Region, as well as Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Peterborough, and Rideau.

The award is given to teachers who have made a significant contribution to exceptional children and youth in their school community. During the Ontario Council for Exceptional Children award ceremony, presenters noted that Josie “personifies the voice and vision of Special Education.”
