YCDSB congratulates its students who received Centro Scuola Awards

The York Catholic District School Board partners with Centro Scuola to provide enriching learning abroad opportunities for high school students. On September 30th, Centro Scuola held an awards night for students who participated in the 2016 program. Two students from Cardinal Carter Catholic High School in Aurora, Amanda Fregonas and Frankie Boragina received the Gino Ventresca Scholarship Fund award for their exceptional work during the program.

The York Catholic District School Board congratulates Amanda and Frankie, as well as all of the below listed students who received awards for their high-level of academic achievement in the study abroad program. The Board also congratulates Cosmo Comisso, a student at St. Joan of Arc CHS in Maple for receiving the Christian Leadership Award, and Gianluca De Rose, a student at St. Jean de Brebeuf CHS for receiving the Alberto Di Giovanni Ambassador Award.
