St. Paul CES students celebrate hometown hockey

In partnership with the Town of Newmarket, Rogers’ Hometown Hockey presented to students and staff at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School in Newmarket on Friday, October 14, 2016. The Hometown Hockey event was a fun, community building activity that highlighted the importance of physical activity for students through the sport of hockey.

The presentation featured television personality, PAZ and his Hockey Circus Show, which includes juggling routines and other Hockey tricks. John Bartlett, the voice of the Montreal Canadians, and Hank, the Hometown Hockey mascot also presented. Dignitaries, including School Trustee, Theresa McNicol and the Mayor of Newmarket, Tony Van Bynen also delivered brief remarks.

Following the presentation, staff from the Town of Newmarket ran hockey-themed activities for students.
