St. Michael the Archangel CES recently partnered with its Catholic School Council to host its first-ever STREAM Night!
STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics and the evening featured engaging, fun and educational activities that highlighted these subjects. There were Jump2Math interactive activities as well as MakerSpaces, coding and robots activities, 3D printing and green screen demonstrations and performances by the school’s Glee Club. In addition, there were presentations on Digital Discipleship and Supporting Students at Home with Mathematics.
As the school continues its tradition of #ThinkingThursdays, displays of JK – Grade 8 student mathematics work using the Three Act Math Task was displayed.
Students, parents, and staff all had a great time at this successful STREAM event. This event was made possible thanks to Pro Grant funding and great collaboration with the CSC.
