Congratulations to Rachel Gaspar on her recent WFMP (When Faith Meets Pedagogy) Poster Design Contest win! Her poster has been chosen to represent the 2019 When Faith Meets Pedagogy Conference.
Rachel recently completed Grade 9 at St. Jean de Brebeuf CHS in Woodbridge and was part of the school’s Integrated Technology Class, where she designed the poster. In a first-ever call for student submissions, a competition was opened to all Catholic high school students across Ontario. With the encouragement and guidance of Teacher Laura Gudelj, Rachel created a powerful and inspiring visual message to support the announcement of this vital conference.
Now in its 23rd year, WFMP will take place October 24 – 26, 2019 in Toronto. This faith-based forum supports the Catholic capacity of educators through the development and provision of high quality Catholic curriculum, resources, support and professional development.
Rachel’s work has also placed in several other local poster and design competitions including: Crime Stoppers and Intercultural Dialogue Creative Minds.
