This Sunday, October 2, 2022, the York Catholic District School Board will join organizations from across the country in celebrating National Custodial Workers’ Recognition Day. On this occasion, we recognize and thank our custodians for everything they do.
St. Ambrose said, “Every worker is the hand of Christ who continues to create and to do good.” We see this in the love and pride that York Catholic custodians put into their work every day. Their commitment to ensuring our schools and office buildings are clean and ready to use allows the York Catholic DSB to operate.
This was particularly true during the difficult days of the pandemic, when their professionalism and dedication allowed for a safe educational environment. Their hard work gave many students, staff and families the peace of mind they needed during that stressful time.
So thank you to our custodians for sharing their God-given talents and vocation with the York Catholic DSB community.
