YCPIC Annual Catholic Student Conference

The York Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (YCPIC) will be hosting the Annual Catholic School Council Conference on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.

The conference will be held at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic High School, located at 278 Wellington St. E, Aurora, L4G 1J5 (Registration at 8:30 am and Welcome/Prayer at 8:50 am).

Carter’s IB Students Sharpen Research & Reflection Skills in the LLC

Carter’s IB Class of 2020 participated in a full-day Extended Essay Research Workshop this week in the LLC. The workshop provided a tutorial on research and reflection best practices including: accessing databases and peer-reviewed academic sources; proper citation and formatting; note-taking and synthesizing information; effective communication with mentors; time management of the EE process; and formal and informal documentation of reflections and learning. School Climate Survey & Grade 12 Exit Survey

Report Card Distribution – April 12th

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Report cards will distributed today, Friday, April 12th.  Please review and discuss your child’s report card with them.  Included with the report card will be a letter which outlines how to book an interview with your child’s teachers.
