Bully B.R.A.V.E. @ FFM!

As part of our Safe Schools initiatives and in recognition of Bullying Prevention Week, staff and students welcomed the Bully B.R.A.V.E. program to FFM earlier this week. This program aims at teaching students practical tools to diffuse conflicts in a non-violent manner. The presentations offered age appropriate information on how to recognize a safe stranger for our Kindergarten friends, and how to recognize bullying behaviours and what to do when you encounter those behaviours for our Grade 1-8 students. The presentations were well received and students have been buzzing about them all week. Bully B.R.A.V.E. has also provided online tools in order for teachers to continue the conversation in the classroom throughout the school year. We encourage you to have an open dialogue with your children about what they learned from the Bully B.R.A.V.E. presentations. For more information, please visit their website https://bullybrave.com/
