This week, FMM celebrated our beautiful diversity in our Multicultural Week 2018. The week was dedicated to honouring the varied cultures, ethnicities, and countries that make up our McGivney family. Reflecting on the words of scripture that we are all made in the image of God, this week was about finding beauty in our differences while also upholding our belief in our origin as the children of God regardless of where we come from geographically.
During the week, staff and students were entertained by dance performances from around the world. The school community was also invited to show off their cultural attire to showcase their traditional clothing. This week has called all of us to embrace our diversity, increase our understanding of our neighbours and to love the uniqueness of our diverse McGivney family.
