Orange Shirt Day on September 28th

Sunday, September 30th will be Orange Shirt Day. This is a movement that began in 2013 as a way to recognize the experience of Indigenous people who survived residential schools. All Canadians are invited to wear an orange shirt to honour Indigenous people and show a commitment to the idea that every child matters. GNA will support Orange Day on Friday, September 28th. We ask that all children wear an Orange Shirt on this Civvies Day in order to support our Indigenous fellow Canadians and all children and bring a tonnie to support.
