The GNA staff and students of GNA will walk in memory of Terry Fox, weather permitting, on Thursday, September 27th. For the walk, our students will be walking on designated trails around the school boundaries. For the walk, for safety reasons, students are to wear their running shoes or appropriate outdoor walking shoes. In support of cancer research and in memory of Terry Fox, we ask that each student, if possible, make a monetary donation of a toonie, to their classroom teacher. We will be collecting donations, up to the day of the event. If you are interesting in donating online, please visit the following website to do just that: https://secure.terryfox.ca/registrant/TeamFundraisingPage.aspx?TeamID=818034#&panel1-2. Our school goal is to raise $ 1,200.00!
