The Canadian Multicultural Inventors Museum is a social innovation organization that works to promote innovative thinking in young people by highlighting the achievements of innovators from diverse backgrounds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On February 11th, St. Anne CES welcomed back award-winning poet, author and entrepreneur, Nadine Williams. Williams delivered two presentations to the school. The first presentation was for Kindergarten to Grade 3 students on the topic of resilience, \u201clike elastics, we bounce back.\u201d The second presentation was for Grade 4-8 students on \u201cnurturing hope through allyship.\u201d Both of her presentations engaged students in discussions about Black History through visual art installations, readings, storytelling, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindergarten to Grade 3 students at the Richmond Hill school also watched a virtual \u2018Read Aloud\u2019 session by legendary musician, Maestro Fresh Wes on February 22.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>St. Anne Catholic Elementary School in Richmond Hill celebrated Black History month by hosting a series of virtual speakers and presentations.
