Hello SJXXIII Community,
St Justin, Martyr Parish, in partnership with the Office of Refugees, Archdiocese of Toronto, has sponsored and resettled refugees from Africa and Syria since 2015.
Their stories of perseverance and resilience are simultaneously horrific and inspiring.
On Saturday March 21 at 6:00 p.m, we will host our first ever Newcomers’
FUN–raiser Dinner in the church hall.
FUN, because it promises to be a meaningful opportunity for the community to meet our newcomers and hear their stories, while enjoying a Mediterranean dinner and winning prizes.
FUNDraising, because we have committed to helping some of our newcomers to begin their own private sponsorship of loved ones in war- torn countries, or in decrepit refugee camps.
