On Monday and Tuesday morning, all Grade 4 students will be writing the CCAT Standardized Test (PACE test). Students cannot study for this test but they should be well rested.  Good luck to all students.

The Terry Fox Marathon of Hope Kick Off Assembly for students in JK-Grade 8 will take place on Wednesday, September 20th at 10:45am in the gymnasium.  On this day, students will bring home an information letter and pledge form.  Your support is appreciated.

The week September 23-September 30, 2016 has been designated as “Safety Awareness Week”. During this week, we will be rehearsing a variety of emergency school procedures to acquaint students and staff with the precautionary steps to take in the event of such things as a warning of severe weather, an intruder or a bomb threat. In addition, throughout the year we will hold practice drills to acquaint students with various emergency protocols. Teachers will review these procedures with students in class prior to our practice drills. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the school.

All forms sent home on the first day of school as well as the very important emergency form, are now past due.  If you haven’t already done so, please send them to school with your child.  Thank you!

Catholic School Council Hot Lunch Orders are due this week  (Mr. Sub orders are due on Mon. Sept. 19th and Milk and Pizza orders are due on Tues. Sept. 20th).  If you require new order forms, you can find them posted on our school website under the Forms tab

A reminder that Monday, September 26 is a PA Day.  Staff will be involved in Professional Development at the school.  We will be creating our School Improvement and Innovation Learning Cycle for Student Achievement and Well Being (SILC SAW).

Thank you for your continued support and involvement.
