Hallowe’en Spook-a-thon

The students demonstrated wonderful school spirit by participating in our fundraiser.  The fundraiser is now over. Families that have not yet returned their money or unsold chocolates are asked to do so on Tuesday, October 23.  Tuesday morning will be the last day that we will be having a daily draw for prizes. Cross Country Champions

Congratulations to the OLA All Stars Cross Country team on winning first place standings at the Meet on October 11th at Bruce’s Mill.  Congratulations also to the Grade 5 and Grade 7 students for winning the grade pennant.  Congratulations to your athletes who displayed perseverance, strength, and overall good sportsmanship in their respective races. OLA Catholic School Council Fundraising Event

Students brought home a box of Laura Secord Nut Free Chocolate bars to sell for our annual Catholic School Council Fundraising event.  A portion of all sales will go back to the school to support technology and curriculum initiatives. We invite families to sell the chocolates from September 28 to October 12th.

A Message from the OLA Platinum Certified ECO Club

Hello O.L.A. Community! Our Eco Club is up and running once again this year! The Ontario Eco Schools Program is an environmental education program that incorporates environmental education with environmentally-responsible actions. We were awarded Platinum Certification in June 2018, the highest level, and we look forward to maintaining this standing. Cross Country Training
