St. Michael the Archangel CES, St. Agnes of Assisi CES and the York Catholic District School Board are pleased to invite you to a “Pathways” presentation on November 27th, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at St. Michael the Archangel CES in the gymnasium.
The focus of the Pathways Presentation, is to promote the various programs and pathways that are available to students at the Secondary level and how to connect those pathways to post secondary interests. Topics covered will include Co-operative Education, Specialist High Skills Major, Dual Credits, Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program, Navigating My BluePrint and building their Individual Pathway Plan (IPP). Ongoing development of the IPP also provides students with a valuable archive of their learning and a record of the resources that can assist them in planning.
YCDSB schools offer experiential programs that focus on students’ preparation for postsecondary endeavours and address their personal faith, particular interests, strengths, needs and aspirations. Such programs assist our Catholic School graduates in making successful transitions to the initial postsecondary destination of their choice: apprenticeship training, college, university, community living, or the workplace. The evening will be both educational and informative.
If you are planning to attend, we kindly ask that you RSVP by visiting the following link: https://goo.gl/f7g361. We sincerely hope that you can join us on this evening in support of our students and their potential pathways!
