On Friday June 1st the St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic High School community came together and relayed around the St. Theresa track for an important cause; to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research. In support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event, a committee of 25 dedicated student leaders and 500+ students and staff relayed for over 10 hours to show their support to those currently struggling with cancer, to acknowledge and stand alongside the survivors and to remember those who tirelessly fought their battle. This is the first year that the school has run the event and as a school community, St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS raised over $125,000! Congratulations to the students and staff on an incredibly inspiring and successful event!
