SAW’s Luke 4.18 will be highlighting the Dress Purple Day Campaign the week of October 23 – 26, 2018. On Wednesday, October 24, 2018 communities across Ontario will DRESS PURPLE to break the silence and show their commitment to children’s rights to safety and well-being. On Dress Purple Day we acknowledge that it takes a village to keep kids safe. Everybody in the community plays a role in supporting children’s rights.
In support of this campaign October 24 will be a Civvies Day at SAW. Parents, staff and students are encouraged to wear a purple shirt, pants, hat, socks or scarf.
