CPR training is important. It can save your life, your children’s lives, your parents’ lives, or even a stranger’s life. Learning the basics can be empowering, and it is something you will remember throughout your lifetime.
On November 8 and 9 all students in grade 6, 7 & 8 participated in a one hour Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills session. Students viewed videos and had the opportunity to practice CPR skills in the event of a cardiac emergency.
This training session was provided by The Regional Municipality of York Paramedics. Paramedics will be returning in January to in-service our staff as well.
