Dear Parents/Guardians ,
On behalf of the staff, I wish to offer you a warm welcome back to St. Bernadette’s CES.
I hope your families enjoyed the summer break and your child is ready to start school.
Please note, due to the large number of registrations last week, we may need to re-organize some of our classes to ensure ministry and board class number compliance. We will be sure to inform you as soon as possible, if your child will be moving classes.
Tomorrow, please proceed with your child to their grade number (1-6) sign in the school yard. Signage indicating Grades 1 through 6 will be located on the walls. Teachers will meet you with their classlists at 9:10. The children will be then organized into lines and proceed to their entry door. Kindergarten students are to be dropped off to staff at the Kindergarten gate.
At the end of the day, all students in Grades 1-6 will exit the school either through the rear South door (Fraser, Spalla, McBeth, Barnett) or through the East doors (Wolscht/Sita, Hastings, Mallen and Dineen.) No students in Grades 1-6 should exit through the school’s front door. Kindergarten students will be picked up at the Kindergarten gate.
Please note, we have changed our bell times to the following:
8:55 am – Yard supervision begins
9:10 am – Entry Bell
10:30-10:45 am – Recess
12:05-12:25 pm – Lunch
12:25 -1:05 -Lunch Recess
2:25 – 2:40 – Recess
3:40 pm – Dismissal
Please plan on attending our Meet and Greet on Wednesday September 12th from 6:30 -7:30 pm.
