Welcome, April and hopefully some spring-like weather.
All are invited to our Catholic School Council meeting this evening (April 1st) at 7:00 pm in the staffroom. All meeting minutes and agendas are uploaded on the website for your perusal.
We wish our Junior Dance Team much success tomorrow, April 2nd as they compete at the Love of Dance Competition at St. Elizabeth High School in Thornhill.
Next week (April 8 -12), we join schools throughout the Region of York in the Pause to Play campaign. Our students are challenged to put their TV’s, gaming devices, tablets and computers on “pause” for one full week and are encouraged to participate in active outdoor play. Father Paul will be at the school on April 9th at 9:30 am to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation to students in Grades 3-6.
On April 10th, we join together to celebrate the International Day of Pink. Remember to wear pink to take a stand against bullying.
All members of our school community are invited to the Oral Communication Finals for Grades 4-6 on April 10th at 1:20 pm in the gymnasium.
During Holy Week, on Holy Thursday April 18th at 11:00 am, all are invited to pray the Stations of the Cross with Mrs. Sita and Mrs. Spalla’s classes.
Father Paul will celebrate our Easter Mass at Immaculate Conception Parish on April 26th at 11:00 am. All are welcome to attend.
We will be organizing a yard clean up on that day.
