Dear Parents/Guardians,
Since we left for the break, so much has changed in our world. As you know, schools are currently closed due to COVID -19. Director Falcone has been sending regular updates to you with links to Learn at Home and our Board supports at www.ycdsb.ca/covid-19, for families to access. Please know that the staff at St. Bernadette CES are working together along with our Board and Ministry of Education partners, on ways to further support and enhance student learning during this period of closure.
You can expect your child’s classroom teacher to be personally reaching out to you over the next couple of days. Teachers are preparing and planning for Phase 2 of the extended closure period. This will involve individualized educational programming using an on-line Board endorsed platform.
Please do not hesitate to contact me personally should your family be negatively impacted. Our Georgina community will be measured through the lens of our Gospel Values and our compassionate response to those in need. Together, we will get through this.
