April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day! At SBN we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where differences are celebrated as things that make us all unique and created in God’s perfect image. Today, as you may be aware, is Purple Day! On this day we are raising awareness about epilepsy. On March 26th annually, SBN and people in countries around the world are invited to wear purple.
People born with Down Syndrome have an extra chromosome. That little “extra” doesn’t define them; it’s just one of the things that makes them AWESOME!
St. Brendan will be celebrating differences by Rocking Our Socks off in the coolest ways. On March 23rd, let’s wear mismatched socks to help us represent diversity and uniqueness.
“I will stick to the goals I have set for myself”
By making a small change today and building active living lifestyles, we can create lasting impacts that will benefit the environment, improve our health, school zone and communities!
