Remembrance Day is a day to say, “Thank you,” and remember all those who have served and are currently serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. We remember those who have worked hard and even
sacrificed their lives to make Canada a safe and free country. Poppies will be distributed to the students in grades K to 8. The younger students will receive sticker poppies. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion will be gratefully accepted.
On Monday, November 11th, at 10:45 a.m., our grade 1-8 students will gather for a Remembrance Day service. It will be a time for us to reflect on the meaning of the freedom we share today and a time to show respect to those who gave it to us. Through prayer, reflection, and music, we will take time to honour soldiers who laid down their lives for Canada and for peace all over the world. All parents and guardians are welcome to attend.
