Oral Communications

On Thursday, April 11th, our Junior and Intermediate students competed at the school level to determine who would represent St. Clare Catholic School at the Area 3 Oral Communication finals.  The Juniors were in the morning while the Intermediates competed in the afternoon. Both panels had 10 speakers in each division and all our students were amazing.

At the Junior level our winner was Mia and at the Intermediate level it was Julia. Both girls did an excellent job and will represent St. Clare Catholic School at the Area 3 finals on April 30th. Mia’s topic was on “The Power of Thought” while Julia’s was on “True Happiness.” We congratulate all of our students for their hard in preparing for this.

We would like to thank our judges for taking time out of their busy schedules to be with us. Our Junior judges were Ms. Basar, Mrs. Bucci, Mrs. Carafa and Mrs. D’Agostino and our Intermediate judges consisted of Mrs. Caputo, Mrs. D’Agostino, Mrs. Genova and Mr. Sachlos. We would also like to thank our Trustee, Mrs. Marchese for attending and praising our students.

Once again with congratulate all students and wish Mia and Julia the best of luck as they go on to the Area 3 finals.
