SCS Well Being Initiatives Continue – January 16

We welcome Sara Westbrook to SCS.  She will be delivering, her UPower Presentation for the entire school.  Students will learn the skills to think and act beyond emotions, which builds confidence, mental well-being, respect for themselves and others, allowing them to more effectively bounce back from challenges.  Thank Catholic School Council for supporting!

Luke 4:18 Winter Clothing Drive – THANK YOU!

Thank you for your donations for the Winter Clothing Drive in support of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  As a community we collected 10 bags of clothing.  The giving continues at SCS. As a community we also made a monetary donation to the Vaughan Food Bank of $200 to help those in need in our own neighbourhood over the Christmas season.

NEXT CIVVIES DAY: JANUARY 11 & 25

This year, our school will continue our fund­raising efforts to support the various local charities, such as ShareLife, Sick Kids Foundation, Chartwell Pine Grove Long Term Residence and NEW this year we will have a special event for Angel Hair for Kids.

Students With Life Threatening Allergies – Anaphylaxis

The York Catholic District School Board continues to help protect anaphylactic students, students with life threatening allergies. As outlined in the policy, parents are asked to inform the school of such allergies and are required to fill in S15 and S15a forms which are available in the office.
