Each April, we celebrate cancer survivors and remember those who have lost their battle to cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society continues to support the many members of the Aurora community who are touched by cancer through a volunteer led transportation services and peer support program .
This year St. Jerome will be participating in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Campaign during the month of April. We will be sending home donation envelopes that contain a daffodil pin with each student. Any donation is appreciated. When your child returns the envelope they will receive a daffodil sticker to add to a garden poster for their class in the front hall. The class that raises the most donations will receive a prize.
We invite you to join us in making a difference in the many lives that are touched by cancer right here in Aurora, by sending a donation back in the envelope. Last year we raised $1316.00 the highest total out of all the schools that participated.
