2024 Lenten Mass

On March 21, 2024 the York Catholic District School Board celebrated the third annual board-wide Lenten Mass of Renewal and Reconciliation. Livestreamed to the board’s 50,000 students, the Mass featured the talented students of St Edward Catholic Elementary School and St Brother Andre Catholic High School, in Markham, who performed the music and helped with the readings.

Lenten Food Drive

Update on April 8 Early Dismissal

Earlier this month, the York Catholic District School Board announced that to ensure student safety due to the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, all schools will be dismissing students early.  At that time we communicated that students would be dismissed at 11:25 a.m.  We have since had to change dismal time. Valentine’s Dance-a-Thon

A big congratulations and thank you to our families for supporting our Dance-a-Thon Fundraiser. This year we successfully generated $5,420, surpassing last year’s total by $300. Thank you for your consistent support; these funds will greatly contribute to assisting our students.

Pink Shirt Day

On Wednesday, February 28th, we recognize Pink Shirt Day. All students are invited to wear pink shirts and/or accessories. Pink Shirt Day raises awareness about anti-bullying and encourages us to celebrate the things that make us unique. Students will receive opportunities to reflect on kindness and respect for one another, within our Catholic school community.
