First Day of School Letter

September 2019

Dear Parent(s) and Guardian(s),

Welcome to the 2019 -20 school year at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Elementary School! The first day of the new school year is Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019. Our staff has beenworking diligently in preparation for the arrival of our students. We are confident that together
we will have an amazing year!

Here is a reminder of our school hours:
8:55am Supervision begins
9:10am School day begins
12:10pm Lunch begins
3:40pm Dismissal

Beginning at 8:55am on Tuesday, September 3rd, parents and guardians of students fromgrades 1 to 8 are welcome to our playground at the side and rear of the school where teachersand support staff will be greeting students. Please make note of the location for each teacher:
Front North Entry

All Kindergarten students are to be dropped off in the Kindergarten yard where Kindergarten teachers and ECEs will direct you to the appropriate line and classroom.

Please note that allstudents will spend the full day at school.
Please be advised that vehicles are not permitted to park or stop in the kiss and ride. This areais strictly for drop offs and exits to allow for other families to drop off children. Let us remember to be courteous and respectful of one another in this regard. Buses will be running for eligible
students on Tuesday, therefore, please refrain from blocking parking lot entrances and exits or stopping in the fire route.

We look forward to seeing you and your children on Tuesday. You will receive an email on Monday with information regarding your child’s class placement. If you’re available, join us for coffee after morning entry in the school library. As always, if you have any questions please do
