The school will have our Remembrance Day Liturgy on November 9th at 10:45 am in the gym. We thank Mlle. Vetro’s & Mlle. Turco’s gr. 2 and 3 classes for organizing the prayer service for the school.

We are all looking forward to our first fundraiser this year of a Halloween Dance-a-thon on October 31st. For families who submit their pledges early to the school, there is an early bird draw on Oct. 26, 29 and 30. Our first Mass for the school year is on October 16 at 10:45 am. It is for the Feast Day of St. Marguerite d’Youville and therefore very special for our school.
Once again, SMD will have a Terry Fox Run/Walk on September 27 to raise money for cancer. Terry Fox was such an inspiration of courage and strength that we would like to remember him every year. We would appreciate any donation our families can give for this important cause.
