The last day of school is June 27, 2019 with a P.A. Day to follow on June 28, 2019. On the last day, report cards and yearbooks (that have been previously ordered) will go home. We will also be clapping out the gr. 8’s at 3:27 p.m. We hope our families will have an enjoyable, safe summer starting on June 28! School will recommence on September 3, 2019. We welcome Mr. Spatari as the new principal!
As St. Marguerite d’Youville’s principal for the last 4 years, I want to thank this wonderful school community for your warmth, enthusiasm and partnership. The students gave me joy and energy every day and I loved working with the staff of SMD and the parents on Council. As I retire as a principal and an educator, I will look back on my years as a teacher, consultant, vice-principal and principal with happiness and fulfillment. Thank you to all the parents and students and staff for being such an important part of my life, and for the joy you have given me to be a part of yours for these 4 years.
