Dear Parents/Guardians,
Our Student Leadership Committee is striving to help young families within our greater community this Christmas season. The Rose of Sharon Services for Young Mothers is a charitable organization providing support and educational services to prenatal and parenting young women under the age of 25 across York Region. We kindly ask you to bring in items such as diapers (preferably large sizes), baby wipes, healthy non-perishable food items, toys for children under the age of 5, and personal care items for the mothers such as make-up, nail polish, and body lotion. Our Rose of Sharon for young mothers drive will run from November 21st to December 12th. Students, and/or families are asked to bring in all items to their classroom teacher and will be placed on display under our Christmas tree in the front foyer .
