13th Annual Taste of Joan – Passport to Flavour – A Celebration of Diversity

On Thursday May 2nd 2019 St. Joan of Arc will be hosting the 13th Annual Taste of Joan Event .  Doors open at 6:45 p.m.  Fittingly the theme for this year’s event is  “Passport to Flavour” where staff, students and parents celebrate the St. Joan of Arc Nations by sampling foods from each country.

FSL Survey for Parents of Students in Grade 7 and Grade 9

All parents/guardians/caregivers of students in grade 7 and grade 9 are invited to share their perceptions about their children’s experiences with French as a Second Language (FSL).

The feedback provided by parents/guardians/caregivers will be used, along with information gathered from students and teachers, to strengthen FSL programming and improve student learning, engagement and achievement.

It has come to our attention that there is a new Internet game called the Momo Challenge that your child may be inadvertently accessing online.  This game has received significant media attention in recent days as it has dangerous repercussions and is in fact a type of cyberbullying.  We encourage you to closely monitor what your child is doing while online.
