STL had a group of enthusiastic students, teachers and parents join the Walk With Hope fundraiser for L’Arche Daybreak on Saturday, May 11th.
From April 25 to May 2, 14 students travelled to Orlando, Florida to compete in the DECA International competition. A big congratulations goes out to all 14 students who qualified to compete at this level. To qualify, a student must place top 10 at the regional and then provincial level. On Saturday April 13th several students from STL participated at the York Region Sci-Tech Fair at York University against approximately 160 students from over 60 schools across the York Region. After 3 rounds of judging, five of our students were awarded medals or honourable mentions for their incredible projects. Congratulations to all students who participated this year.
