Welcome back students, parents and staff. I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful summer and that you are ready to begin another new school year.
As we begin another exciting year in Catholic education, I look forward to working with you and all our staff to make this school year an academic success for all our students.
With such a terrific group of administrators and staff in our school communities, I feel confident that we will continue to achieve our ultimate goal of Student Success.
It was great to see so many students taking summer school. St. Joan of Arc CHS was not available due to driveway repair, however, there were 7 buses going to St. Elizabeth CHS. Congratulations to all our summer school students who received their credits.
Publicly-funded Catholic Education is important. Parents, I encourage you to please check your Property Assessment information to make sure that you are a Separate School Supporter, as this demonstrates to the government your support of our publicly funded Catholic schools. Check today by calling the Municipal Property Assessment Office at 1-866-296-6722, or visit their website at www.mpac.ca. You can also get an Application for Direction of School Support by calling the York Catholic District School Board Admissions Office at 905-713-2711, ext. 12451 or 12453, or by visiting our website at www.ycdsb.ca.
Parkinson’s SuperWalk takes place on Sunday September 13th at 9:00 am at the City of Vaughan. Come out and show your support. More info. www.parkinsonsuperwalk.ca
