Three More Holy Cross HPA Athletes Drafted to the OHL

On Saturday, April 4, 2020, three Grade 10 students from the Holy Cross HPA program were drafted by OHL hockey teams. The school would like to congratulate Zakary Lavoie who was drafted seventh overall by Mississauga Steelheads (1st round), Maxime Seguin drafted by North Bay Battalion (11th round), and Joshua Vogelsberg drafted by Sarnia Sting (13th round). In its two year existence, the Holy Cross HPA program already has eight OHL-drafted student-athletes and one student drafted to the NHL’s New York Rangers.

Staff and administration are very proud of these individuals, as they have demonstrated exemplary dedication to both their athletics and their academics while at Holy Cross. The continued success of the HPA program is the result of Holy Cross’ hardworking staff and student-athletes.
