- An academic program for elite student-athletes involved regional, provincial, national, or international competition
- A flexible timetable to balance academic and athletic commitments to pursue post-secondary education in Canada, the United States, or abroad (see options below)
- Two HPA Coordinators to monitor student progress
- New sport themed elective courses
- NCAA mentorship program
- Enrichment sport themed field trips and guest speakers
- A dynamic learning environment (Face-to-face/eLearn)
- Open to all students including those outside YCDSB boundary

- Baseball: AAA, Elite
- Basketball: AAU, OBA, Coalition, CYBL, NPH
- Dance: Competitive, Elite
- Figure Skating: Pre Novice
- Golf: Competitive, Performance
- Gymnastics: Level 7
- Hockey: Boys – AAA, Girls – AA
- Soccer: Boys & Girls – iModel-C1, OPDL
- Volleyball – Rep, OVA

Flexible Timetable – 3 Options
- HPA students can pick ONE of the three schedule options above to balance both their academic and athletic commitments.
- If a student chooses Options A or B, they must be training with a certified coach during the “training periods (away from school)“.
- Students who choose Option C are in school all day and can benefit from the other program features.
NOTE:
Our HP athletes receive special academic accommodations while they are away for tournaments and competition regardless of which schedule option they choose.
